Fall Out Boy - Infinity On High

Track 1 - Thriller 8/10
This song is one of those songs that you can tell is the first song of an album. It has that 'first song' vibe, if you know what I mean. That isn't necessarily a bad thing - I just feel that throughout the song it is building up to something else (the rest of the album). A good song, however.

Track 2 - The Take Over, The Breaks Over 9/10
Really like this song, it has a great vibe and beat. Once you have decoded Patrick Stump's vocals it's even better! (Is it only me who finds the lyrics hard at times?!) Really fab track.

Track 3 - This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race 8/10
Great song, apart from the beginning of the chorus. The whole 'This ain't a scene, it's a goddamn arms race' part of it isn't that great. However, that having been said, the rest is amazing! Love the 'so intricate (do do do do doo)' bit.

Track 4 - I'm Like A Lawyer With The Way I'm Always Trying To Get You Off (Me & You) 7/10
This songs okay, I always forget what it is called because the title pays no resemblance to the rest of the song (classic FOB) (apart from the (Me & You) bit). Quite catchy, and not a bad song in general.

Track 5 - Hum Hallelujah 9/10
This song is good, it is catchy and well written. It is one of the first songs that I liked from the album, and I have remained liking it since! Love the chorus, the lyrics are great - truly good song!

Track 6 - Golden 10/10
Love this song, even though it is short. It has a lot of beauty, even though it clearly is not meant to be one of the main songs of the album. I really love it, it has a lot of great singing and melodies, and I could sing it to death! The lyrics are so emotive and hauntingly sung as well.

Track 7 - Thnks fr th Mmrs 10/10
Of course, this song is brilliant. I loved this song when it was first released, and I still love it. A lot. Funny thing is is that I now understand the lyrics that my previous innocent self didn't! Classic FOB track.

Track 8 - Don't You Know Who I Think I Am? 7/10
This song is okay. Pretty average to be honest, but I can tolerate it. The chorus is quite good, it works well, and it goes well into and from the verses.

Track 9 - The (After) Life Of The Party 6/10
Don't like this song much. It is a bit dull and lost in the rest of the album as it doesn't stand out for any reason. The other songs are a lot more memorable and catchy, as well as sounding well put together rather than an afterthought.

Track 10 - The Carpal Tunnel Of Love 8/10
This song is okay, I think it sounds a lot like the other songs, but that doesn't mean that it can't be good! Yet again, as reminded by the chorus, I am impressed by Stump's vocals and his musical range. He's brilliant!

Track 11 - Bang The Doldrums 10/10
Love this song so much. So so catchy, really great vibe and tune throughout.

Track 12 - Fame < Infamy 8/10
Like this song actually; it has a good musical sound and good lyrics. Not one of my ultimate favourites but I like it nonetheless. The chorus isn't as good as the verses, but it does work well as a track as a whole.

Track 13 - You're Crashing, But You're No Wave 10/10
Love this song, it is amazing! The lyrics are great, the way it is sung is lovely - plus the song works really well. Can listen to this for a while to come I think!

Track 14 - I've Got All This Ringing In My Ears And None On My Fingers 8/10
This song is good, but the chorus is a bit high! Tricky for me to sing along to in the shower. Not their best, but still a good song.

Track 15 - G.I.N.A.S.F.S 9/10
A good song - good melody and flow. Like the verses and the chorus, and I like singing this very loudly in the car!

Whole album:
This album is one of those ones that there are a few songs I really love, but I am not sure about the album as a whole. It isn't one of my favourite albums ever, but I really like FOB and some of their songs - especially from From Under The Cork Tree, which I will review soon.
